Training Program for DOT Supervisors Available

Drug Free Pennsylvania has launched of a new online learning program as part of the organization's powerful online portal and employer service offering, Drug-Free WorkPlace Solutions.
The new program, DOT Training for Supervisors, is a detailed eight-module training program that provides in-depth knowledge to supervisory personnel working in DOT-regulated organizations. Commercial motor carriers, transportation firms and others involved in the commercial transport of goods or persons are now able to access a specialized training resource, tailored for their needs.
Eight modules have been produced, covering the following topics:
- Transportation Safety
- Alcohol Abuse
- Drug Abuse
- Testing Situations
- Testing Process
- Reasonable Suspicion
- Direct Observation
- Record Keeping, Compliance & Leadership
The program is available for purchase by members of the Drug-Free WorkPlace solutions service, and can be added to a member's employee training program at the click of a button.
DOT Training for Supervisors is the fourth in the series of online learning programs available as part of Drug-Free WorkPlace Solutions. The other programs are Employee Training, Supervisor Training and Reasonable Suspicion Training.
Programs are purchased online and assigned to employees dynamically. Employers can track employee progress through the online learning modules, which are organized in 10-20 minute indvidual segments. After each module a quiz is provided to test an employee's knowledge and comprehension. At the conclusion of each program, the employee is able to print out a completion certificate, and the employer can produce a report verifying employee actions and programs completed.
